This is a traditional song that I wrote original verses for. It’s a classic unrequited love song, about chasing a beautiful woman, loving her with all of my heart and soul, being led on and let down, and ultimately finding enough self love in the end to know that no matter what, I will be okay…or at least finding enough tenacity to sing the line “she went and left me all alone, but I know I’m gonna be just fine” over and over until i believe it.
